The head of the robot pictured here was one component of a project to enable full autonomy in iRobot's flagship Packbot. I designed sealed enclosures for the array of sensors and processors required to carry out complex autonomous tasks in harsh environments. I did CAD modeling, made controlled drawings, and used FEA models to optimize the dissipation of heat from sensitive electronics.
